n a world where one look has the power to change everything you believe in,               Gabrielle Sanders finds herself drawn into a whirlwind of emotions when a chance encounter with a stranger leaves her reeling. During her run past the Biomedical building, they are inexplicable drawn together. An urge too strong to deny, pulls her inside, setting in motion, a chain of events that will alter the course of her life forever.

When Gabrielle lays eyes on Max Thorne, her world is turned upside down. The girl who was devoid of love, suddenly finds herself consumed by an overwhelming desire for him. Standing on the precipice of diving into a world she knew nothing about, the levee that imprisoned her heart had just broken, the flood waters of emotion were pouring in. But Gabrielle is haunted by her past, haunted by the scars she left behind at home, leaving her feeling unworthy of Max's love.

Despite the undeniable connection between them, she flees, convinced she's

not enough for him. However, fate has other plans, and as Gabrielle embarks on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, she realizes that she is not the victim she thought she was, but a survivor. With newfound strength and determination, Gabrielle resolves to fight for her future and for the love she knows she deserves.
